I was born in São Paulo Brazil. Early in life we moved back to Pernambuco where I lived with my grandparents. I remember when having rice on Sundays was a feast.

At the age of 10 we moved back to São Paulo, where I came to know my new born beloved brother Rudi. That was a better life, my step-father was an engineer and book-keeper of a well known company.

At 17 the Lord brought me to Him and 1 year later He gave me the opportunity to study in a bible institute where I learned better about my faith and walk in the Christian life.

Few years later I went to Rio de Janeiro to attend the Seminary and in the beggining of the 4th year I was ordeined and became senior pastor of the First Baptist Church of Carapebus, RJ (April 1978). After my Bachalor degree in Theology, I took the 5 years Law School degree and became a licensed lawyer, Juris Doctor, affiliated to the Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil, the only Official Board of Lawyers in Brazil

I start practicing law in the family court and at the same time teaching Greek and NT in the seminary. By that time I assumed the sub-superintendency of the Colegio Batista Fluminense, today a Baptist University, and moving to the city of Campos the PIB Goitacazes invited me minister them and later we became the president of the churches association.

In the 90's I came back to São Paulo, the city of Taubaté to assume a new ministry and then to teach at the local University. UNITAU

In 1993 I came to USA, to the peaceful city of Burlington NC. It was a new start, a second change. Here I met Nancy my wifeand we started a new path, a new life.

1998 we opened “Lacerda Realty Inc”. We have been so blessed helping hundreds of people to reach the dream of a new home and we had too the opportunity to visit countries like Israel, Greece and others .

Above all I am so thankful for my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for giving the privilege of preaching in many churches, to minister and to grow in the knowledge of His Amazing Grace.

America has gone through a profound change in the last 50 years, a revival in our values and commitment to the mandate of Christ is a must. As a bi-vocational minister I ask the Lord to use me as I make tents, helping many to fulfil their dream of a new home, I may be used too to help people to find out and enjoy the privelegies of the heavenly citizenship.
